Frequently Asked Questions
To book The Connection Room, you must sign a Facility Rental Agreement (FRA) and provide a deposit equal to 50% of the total rental fee. The remaining balance and a refundable security deposit are due 45 days before your event. Some dates may require full, non-refundable payment at the time of booking. Yes, all renters must provide proof of public liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000, with Steps to Recovery Homes and the venue listed as additional insured. Any deductible associated with the policy is the responsibility of the renter.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own vendors, but all vendors must be approved in advance. Caterers must have the necessary permits, and any vendor providing alcohol must follow local liquor laws and obtain proper licensing if required. A list of all vendors, along with their contact information, must be provided to The Connection Room at least 20 days before the event.
Setup and teardown times must be coordinated with our facility liaison. The venue must be left clean and free of trash, and all rental equipment must be removed promptly after the event. A final cleaning is mandatory and will be handled by our designated cleaning service for an additional fee. If catering is involved, the caterer is responsible for thoroughly cleaning their area, including removing all trash and food-related waste.
Any structural modifications, including nails, staples, or tape, must be approved in advance. No signage or markers may be placed outside the venue without prior approval. Any damage to the facility caused by decorations or modifications will be the responsibility of the renter. A walkthrough is highly recommended before and after the event to document the venue’s condition.
If alcohol is being served, the renter must comply with all city, county, and state laws. If alcohol is being sold, a valid liquor license must be obtained and submitted to The Connection Room at least 45 days before the event. Depending on the size and nature of the event, security services may be required for an additional fee. Any necessary permits for the event must be obtained and presented before the function takes place.
